ACR ResQLink View RLS Personal Locator Beacon
Price
$529.95
A 406 MHz personal locator beacon that floats on its own, with GPS and Galileo, a 121.5 MHz homing signal and a strobe. The display shows its status and your coordinates, and the Return Link Service light confirms the satellite system received your alert and located you. The trade-offs: it is larger and costs more than the rescueME. Battery: 5 years, replaced by an ACR service center. Register it free with NOAA before you need it and renew every two years; federal rules require registration.
